Kanye West may be linking up with the Jumpman.
The Yeezy mogul has fans excited over a potential collaboration with Michael Jordan after he posted a photo of the Jumpman logo on Instagram Friday.
He also reposted a comment from the NBA legend’s son, Marcus Jordan, who proposed a meeting between Ye, DJ Khaled, and his father. “Let’s make THAT convo happen,” Marcus wrote on Khaled’s IG.
Ye was seemingly down with the idea, captioning his post with the eyes emoji.
Kanye has had a partnership with adidas since 2013 after parting ways with Nike.
On his 2015 single “Facts,” he proclaimed “Yeezy just jumped over Jumpman.” He later apologized to Jordan. “I’m sorry Michael Jordan I love and respect you,” Ye tweeted in February 2016. “My beef was with [former Nike CEO] Mark Parker. I respect you so much!”
During his interview with “Drink Champs” in November, Ye said that MJ was upset with him over “Facts.”
“Jordan still won’t meet with me,” he said, according to Complex. “I’m trying to meet with Michael Jordan, it’s like ‘Man, it’s a song, man.’”
Meanwhile, Ye recently hit the studio with DJ Khaled. According to Khaled, their “anthem” will also feature another mystery guest.
“@kanyewest vocals secured,” he wrote. “Watch what I do next. Dj KHALED feat YE and ? ? ? ?”
