Kanye West was thinking of giving it all up to become his wife’s stylist.
The Yeezy billionaire once told Kim Kardashian that he was ready to quit his career in order to style her full time.
According to TMZ, Kim made the revelation on her new reality series “The Kardashians,” which premieres this week on Hulu. In the episode, Kim is seen trying on outfits that Ye selected for her to wear for her “SNL” hosting gig in October.
While looking through her closet, she reportedly told her friend, “Kanye wants to quit everything and dedicate his life to being my stylist.”
As her stylist, Kanye helped transform Kim into a fashion icon. The beauty mogul, who was once a personal stylist to Paris Hilton, has credited her estranged husband for “really introducing me to the fashion world.”
“I really think that my relationship with my husband Kanye really changed everything,” she told CNN Style in 2015. “I mean, back in the day I thought I had the best style. I look back at outfits and I’m, like, mortified.”
Ye also serves as the “ghost creative director” for Kim’s shapewear brand, SKIMS. “It’s amazing to have someone you really respect and value their creative opinion,” Kim said during an interview with The New York Times. “He designed the bubble-shaped SKIMS logo, and helped with everything from hiring photographers, approving models and selecting packaging.”
Amid their ongoing divorce, Kanye has turned his attention to his new girlfriend, Chaney Jones. He reportedly considers the Kim look-alike to be his new “muse.”
