Karol G & Anuel AA Enjoy Cardi B’s ‘Coronavirus Remix’: Watch

Reggaeton lovebirds Karol G and Anuel AA are following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s safety guidelines in the midst of the coronavirus disease: they’re staying at home.

Both the Puerto Rican trap star and Colombian artist have been spending their time together at their home in Miami. They’re making the best out of quarantine by playing video games, listening to music, working out, hanging out in the jacuzzi, and the internet’s new favorite, enjoying Cardi B’s “Coronavirus Remix.”

In a 10-second video posted Thursday night (March 19), we see Karol trying to sit on a couch, Anuel trying to go to the bathroom, the couple leaning in for a kiss but refuse to do so because, well, coronavirus.

Cardi B’s viral “Coronavirus Remix,” which was born out of her outspoken personality, accompanies the humorous clip. “I love them,” the rapper expressed on Twitter, sharing the video.

Cardi B’s current viral hit comes on the heels of her thoughts on the global pandemic. “Government, government, government. You wanna know something? I know s–t getting real,” she says a social media rant. Her words were quickly transformed into an infectious hip-hop song by DJ iMarkkeyz titled “Cardi B ‘Coronavirus (S–t Is Real!)’ Remix.”

The song’s success has quickly escalated the iTunes charts and has become a sensation on Instagram and TikTok. Recently, Cardi B announced that she will be donating proceeds from the song to the families affected by the virus.
