Katy Perry teamed up with iHeart Radio to raise money for Meals on Wheels with her very own Living Room Series concert on Wednesday (May 27).
Rather than her actual living room, the 30-minute set took place on stage at Los Angeles’ Hotel Cafe, which the pop star described as her “growing up space” where she tested out songs in the mid-2000s before hitting it big with 2008’s “I Kissed a Girl.”
“Tonight we’re saying thanks to all the people that have been working so hard to keep us safe, and hopefully we can lift some spirits with a little music,” Perry said before launching into an acoustic rendition of her 2013 No. 1 hit “Roar.”
Clad in a green floral-print maxidress, the pop star showed off her growing baby bump while running though her catalog of songs including 2019’s “Never Really Over,” 2008’s “Thinking of You” and a cover of Louis Armstrong‘s “What a Wonderful World,” the latter of which she described as “a very special song that seems to have a new meaning in this time.”
Finally, Perry closed out the virtual concert with her latest single “Daisies,” which serves as the lead single for her upcoming sixth studio album set to be released Aug. 14.
