Kelly Clarkson opened a new week of episodes of her eponymous talk show on Monday (Feb. 17) by covering Robyn's "Dancing On My Own," and it was nothing short of a match made in pop heaven.
Wearing a brightly multicolored, striped dress, the superstar played around with the melody while belting out the 2010 hit's lovelorn chorus. "I'm in the corner/ Watching you kiss her, ohhh/ I'm right over here/ Why can't you see me, ohhh/ I'm givin' it my all/ But I'm not the girl you're takin' home, oooo/ I'll keep dancing on my own," she wailed over cascading drums.
During the President's Day episode, Clarkson chatted with Constance Wu about Asian-American representation in Hollywood and EastSiders star Kit Williamson about growing up gay in the deep South. Next week, the busy multi-hyphenate is set to return for her fifth consecutive season as a coach on The Voice alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend and new coach Nick Jonas.
