During a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, host Kelly Clarkson launched into a segment of Kellyoke by covering Dan + Shay’s 2018 hit “Tequila.”
Donning a pink floral dress and black boots, Clarkson delivered a mesmerizing rendition of “Tequila” with a driving beat and her memorable vibrato while backed by her band, putting a distinct pop twist on the Grammy Award-winning country song.
An obvious audience favorite, the pre-coronavirus filmed segment included hand claps from the audience while Clarkson showcased her impressive vocal range in the nearly two-minute clip.
Since the segment was shot, Clarkson has resumed production of the daytime series with at-home episodes with her crew working remotely. The at-home production began on March 13 in Montana due to the coronavirus pandemic. The popular Kellyoke segment has now been dubbed Bathroom Kellyoke and is shot at Clarkson’s home.
