Kendrick Lamar & SZA Launch Lead Single From TDE-Produced "Black Panther" Soundtrack

Top Dog Entertainment (TDE) is ready to extend its takeover into 2018, with Kendrick Lamar and SZA dropping new music as part a major movie partnership announcement.

“All The Stars”serves as the first single from Marvel’s Black Panther movie soundtrack, which will be curated and produced by Lamar and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.

Director Ryan Coogler (who helmedCreedand Fruitvale Station) selected Lamar specifically, and worked with him and Tiffith on the soundtrack.

Lamar spoke about the project in a press release.

“Marvel StudiosBlack Pantheris amazing, from its cast to its director,” he said. “The magnitude this film showcases a great marriage art and culture. Im truly honored to contribute my knowledge producing sound and writing music alongside Ryan and Marvels vision.”

The full tracklisthas not yet been announced.

Black Panther hits theaters February 16 and Black Panther: The Albumis expected to arrive on February 9.

Kung Fu Kennywon DX’s 2017 Rap Album Of The Year award while SZA won for R&B Album Of The Year, so yeah, we’re excited about this one.
