Even though it was his birthday, Kodak Black was the one giving gifts.
The Florida rapper took to Instagram to reveal a diamond bracelet that he customized for Cardi B. The cuban link piece, designed by Shyne Jewelers, features Cardi-inspired charms including a Birkin bag, a rockstar hand emoji with red nails, and one that says the name of Cardi’s daughter, Kulture. Kodak also included his Sniper Gang logo, while the buckle reads “CardiYak,” a combination of both their names.
“Cardi B I Hope You Like Yo Bracelet,” wrote Kodak, who used the hashtag #CardiYak.
Kodak’s debut single “No Flockin” inspired Cardi’s 2017 hit “Bodak Yellow,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks and was certified diamond after moving over 10 million units in the U.S., a win for both artists.
“If Cardi B win I win because that’s my twin,” Kodak once said of his Atlantic Records labelmate, while Cardi clapped back at those who tried to pit them against each other.
“He got credit on the song WE both getting rich with the song till we die ..The song is called Bodak Yellow for a reason,” she tweeted in March.
