Akeem Manhertz or professionally known as Kyngjai, is a self taught, independent recording Hip-Hop / Reggae/ Dancehall pop artist. He was originally from Kingston, Jamaica but moved to the United States at the age of 15. Akeem got his name “Kyngjai” from the Rastafarians in his neighborhood that always called him Prince / King of Zamunda from Eddie Murphy’s Coming To America. “JAI” came from his children, Jalen his son and his second Aniyah and his third Isaiah “Kyngjai”.
