Rising pop singer Lexy Panterra premiered her new track “Fall” on Wednesday (April 15), exclusively to Billboard.
On the sparkling single, Panterra finds herself on the precipice of a new romance, urging her lover to take the leap with her. “So fall like you’re s’posed to do, baby/ Fall like it’s nothin’ new, yeah/ Fall like you’re fallin’ through/ Standin’ doesn’t matter when you/ Fall, I’ll be there for you, yeah/ Fall, it’s just me and you/ Fall like the seasons do/ Standin’ doesn’t matter when you,” she sings on the track’s swooning chorus over a finger-picked guitar line and echoing pop percussion.
“I’m so excited to be sharing ‘Fall’ with my fans because I haven’t ever released a song like this before,” Panterra tells Billboard, referring to the “slower vibe” of the track. “I think people will really relate to the lyrics, so I’m excited to hear what everyones thinks and how the song makes them feel.”
“Fall” follows the release of the singer’s debut EP, A Gemini Valentine, which featured singles “Want Him Now” and “Room” as well as the Mozzy-assisted “My Love.” She also collaborated throughout 2019 with the likes of Too $hort (“Pretty Young Savage”), Shaun Frank (“Where Do You Go”) Lil Yachty (“Live Forever”) and more.
