Prosecutors in the Lil Durk trial have officially revealed the Chicago rapper’s alleged “Opp List,” a document that highlights a series of intense personal and professional rivalries. The list, which was presented during Day 8 of the proceedings in Los Angeles, includes notable figures such as NBA YoungBoy, Quando Rondo, and 6ix9ine, among others. This evidence has become a focal point in the ongoing legal battle, as the prosecution seeks to establish a pattern of behavior regarding the rapper’s conflicts.
According to reports from journalists covering the trial, including Taylor Parise of Los Angeles Magazine and Trap Lore Ross, the list was extracted from a text message sent by the artist to his team. The message concluded with a pointed statement: “These the MFs I hate and got something against me.” The inclusion of these specific names underscores the deep-seated tensions that have defined much of the public discourse surrounding the artist’s career.
Beyond the well-known rap rivals, the list also featured individuals connected to past legal incidents. This includes Puke, believed to be GG Puke, who has been linked to the murder of Durk’s brother, Dontay Banks, Jr., known as DThang. Additionally, the list named Alexander Witherspoon, a man involved in a 2019 incident in Atlanta where Durk and the late King Von were accused of attempted robbery and shooting. While those charges were eventually dropped in 2022, the inclusion of Witherspoon suggests a long-standing grudge.
Perhaps most surprisingly, the list also contained the name of Miami rapper Trina. The reasoning behind her inclusion remains unclear, as she has not been publicly associated with the same level of conflict as the other individuals named. As the trial continues, the defense and prosecution remain locked in a high-stakes battle, with the rapper’s family expressing the heavy emotional toll the proceedings have taken on them. Dontay Banks Sr., the rapper’s father, recently spoke to the media, emphasizing the difficulty of watching his son navigate such a complex legal situation while still grieving the loss of his other son to gun violence.
