Continuing the duo’s everlasting partnership, Livestock and adidas have reconnected to reimagine the biking-oriented Velosamba silhouette. Donning a “TRIPLE RUSH†theme — a phrase coined by bike messenger dispatchers in New York City to categorize packages of the highest priority — the project nods to bicycle couriers, emphasizing the fusion of visibility with durability. In addition, Livestock connected with Standert to create a one-of-one Umlaufbahn bike that complements the kicks.
The colorway arrives in a primarily black presentation, utilizing precise material specifications to ensure its readiness for pedaling through bustling city streets. Two-bolt cleat compatibility pairs with a reinforced midsole that balances its ability to perform on-bike and off. A ballistic nylon upper combines with premium leather and suede at the overlays while orange “*TRIPLE RUSH†text appears next to the Three Stripes in place of the typical “VELOSAMBA†hit. 3M detailing further adds to its visibility with a custom illustrated sockliner and three sets of laces included as well.
For those interested in grabbing a pair, Livestock has just launched the shoe today with sizes already beginning to sell out. Priced at $170 CAD (approx. $126 USD), they’re available now via the Livestock website.
