Louis Tomlinson announced to fans on Thursday (April 2) that he has been forced to postpone all of the April and May international tour dates on his first-ever solo world tour in support of his Walls album after earlier pushing his spring UK dates back to September because of the spreading coronavirus.
“Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all of my tour dates for April & May 2020 are being rescheduled,” Tomlinson said. “I’m really gutted but of course the health and safety of all of my fans and tour crew needs to come first.” Tomlinson promised that he’ll be announcing new dates “very soon.”
Tomlinson had shows slated in Kiev, Ukraine (April 14), Moscow (April 16), Dubai (April 18) and Jakarta, Indonesia (April 20), as well as gigs in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and South American through May 21. At press time the status of the singer’s U.S. tour, scheduled to kick off on June 9 in Minneapolis, was not updated.
