Lunay Returns to Music With the Quarantine-Made ‘Relaciones'

Lunay returns to the spotlight with his brand new single and video “Relaciones,” out Thursday (July 16).

At the helm of his go-to production team, Chris Jeday, and Gaby Music, the 19-year-old Puerto Rican artist sings about a topic that many people will relate to— friends with benefits.

With his melodic voice and captivating reggaeton beats, “Relaciones” tells the story of a person who wants everything besides the commitment. “I don’t want a relationship / I just want to have relationships / Baby, don’t talk to me about love / You know my intentions very well,” the addicting chorus says.

This new single and video mark Lunay’s first release since his 2019 album Épico and also his first production made during the coronavirus quarantine.

“It’s obviously been such a challenging year with everything that has been happening around the world, but I am very excited that I’ve been able to get back to creating music again and release my first new song since my debut album Épico,” the former Billboard Latin Artist on the Rise said in a statement. “I hope that new music can help us all reconnect and stay connected no matter all the changes we are facing. That’s why I’ve been working hard these last months, and I have lots of new music to share.”

Lunay continues working with the continued label support of Star Island and new support from Latin music powerhouse management team Lionfish Entertainment.
