A very pregnant Maren Morris took the stage at the Houston Rodeo on Saturday (March 7). The singer, who is nine months along, is expecting her first child with husband Ryan Hurd.
Morris showed off her stage look in several posts on Instagram. “That’s a wrap, Texas,” she captioned with the hashtag #9monthsAndDidTheFreakingRodeo.” The photo shows Morris posing outside of a private jet following her performance. Donned in a form fitting nude jumpsuit emblazoned with silver and fringe, the mom-to-be was glowing with happiness.
“If I go into labor during this show, it’s all good because it just means that my kid really wanted to be born in Texas,” the Texas native told the crowd, according to the Houston Chronicle.
“He’s kicking. He knows that my adrenaline is on full blast,” Morris added. “For the rest of my life, I’m gonna look back at this show and show my son footage of it,” she said. “And tell him it got him out the door.”
