Mezuo explores “what comes with the craft” on the release of his debut music visual for “30”. The track is a certified banger produced by Mezuo himself, which is commentary on his vast capabilities within the industry. Mezuo’s flow is captivating, energetic, and soulful. You hear purpose in his voice and the video enhances the experience by displaying a very cinematic feel with fluid camera work. Mezuo tapped Mase Visuals to direct and his official DJ, DJ K3N to Executive Produce and add some muscle to the production of the video.
The visual features Mezuo solely and it’s clear nobody else was needed to drive the story home of the inherent loneliness that comes with obsessing over achievement within entertainment. I was very impressed by the fact that the team made the decision to not feature Mezuo actually rapping in the video, as he literally reflects upon the bittersweet situation that he’s built. I can see this debut release lending itself to major opportunities within television and film for the Houston native Rapper/Producer/Screenwriter.
Mezuo is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business with a minor concentration in Screenwriting and Directing. Seeing the visual and the steps taken for the rollout over the last year of Mezuo’s campaign, I will not be surprised at any level of success brought about by the young multi-hyphenate.
