Milky Chance and Jack Johnson’s joint single “Don’t Let Me Down” rises 3-1 to take over the top spot on Billboard‘s Adult Alternative Songs airplay chart dated July 18.
The song is Johnson’s 10th Adult Alternative Songs No. 1 and first since “I Got You” led for two weeks in August 2013. He first ruled with “Flake” for three weeks in June 2002. “Down” is his first collaborative leader.
Johnson becomes one of just four acts to boast double-digit Adult Alternative Songs No. 1s.

“Down” is Milky Chance’s second Adult Alternative Songs No. 1, following the duo’s eight-week ruler and breakthrough single “Stolen Dance” in August-October 2014. In between, the act charted one song, “The Game,” which reached No. 28 last October.
Concurrently, “Down” hits a new No. 23 high on the Alternative Airplay chart. On the all-rock-format, audience-based Rock Airplay tally, it jumps into the top 20 (22-20), up 22% to 2.3 million audience impressions, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
