Miranda Lambert embraces her country roots in the new video for latest single “It All Comes Out in the Wash.” Directed by Trey Fanjoy, the three-minute clip has Lambert enjoying a fun-filled day of off-roading and mudding with her friends.
When she finds her truck stuck in the mud, Lambert enlists the help of two guys who assist in pushing her out of the mud. While she’s in the clear, one of the men faceplants in the mud much to his disgust. Lambert, meanwhile, laughs along as she sings the infectious chorus. The video was filmed outside of Nashville and after a fun day of mudding, Lambert & Co. rightfully end up at the car wash.
“It All Comes Out in the Wash” is the lead single from Lambert’s forthcoming new album Wildcard, out Nov. 1. She penned the track with ace songwriting team The Love Junkies (Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose).
“I think it was just kind of classic me,” Lambert previously told Billboard of the track. “It’s got some sarcasm to it, but it's very honest…I’m in a new phase of my life and ready to have new music out there that represents that. This one just felt perfect as far as the vibe of it. It’s fun and lighthearted and I'm really excited about it.”
