Grammy-winning band Monsieur Periné is ready to embark on their first-ever acoustic tour across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia, Billboard exclusively reveals today (March 2).
Dubbed Mundo Paralelo, Catalina Garcia and Santiago will perform intimate acoustic versions of fan favorites such as “Bailar Contigo,” “Mi Libertad,” “Suin Romanticon” and “La Sombra,” kicking off May 2 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Colombian musical ensemble will then visit fans in Los Angeles, Miami, Boston, Monterrey, and their hometown Bogota before wrapping up on June 5 at Teatro Pablo Tobón Uribe in Medellin, Colombia.
Billboard can confirm that the tour is named after the band’s upcoming single, “Mundo Paralelo,” to be released Sony Music. This will be their first new release since their Grammy-nominated 2018 album Encanto Tropical.
