While celebrating her first Hot 100 No. 1 record with her appearance on Doja Cat’s “Say So,” on Monday (May 11), a bubbly Nicki Minaj sang high praise for her sister-in-collaboration, Ariana Grande.
Minaj gushed over Grande’s newest record, “Stuck with U,” a joint effort with Justin Bieber, in a post on her Instagram Stories.
“My sister is unstoppable. Congrats @Ariana Grande,” she wrote after posting her listening to Grande’s latest quarantine jam. Minaj and Grande’s bond consists of multiple collaborations, including “Side 2 Side” and “The Light Is Coming.”
Minaj’s celebration of her newly-minted No. 1 record included a warm message to her fans, in which she thanked them for their endless support en route to her latest feat.
“Can’t thank you guys enough for going so hard this past week to help us make history,” she captioned her post of a pseudo Billboard cover featuring her and Doja. “I saw it all. You’ll never understand how much you uplift me with the overwhelming love & support you continue to show. I love you so much. Like so much. So much. Dear @dojacat, thanks for trusting me with your baby. Hope I lived up to your expectations. You’re so extremely talented & so deserving of this moment. what time r u showing ur boobs? Love, Nic.”
