Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee Bring the Joy with ‘Muevelo’ on ‘Kimmel’

Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee kicked off 2020 with their highly-awaited “Los Cangris” comeback, releasing their joint single “Muevelo" as part of the Bad Boys For Life soundtrack.

While making the rounds, the two reggaeton veterans made a pit stop at Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (Jan.16), where they performed the track live on television for the first time. “We’re ready! Muevelo,” both Jam and Yankee teased on their Instagram stories before their performance.

Joined by eight dancers wearing skull masks and red outfits, the Puerto Rican twosome took the stage and pumped up the crowd with the high-energy reggaeton song that revives the 1994 reggae/hip-hop classic “Here Comes the Hotstepper” by Ini Kamoze

During the late ‘90s and early ‘00s, Yankee and Jam formed the duo "Los Cangris" and released hits including “Guayando," "Sentirte" and "Entre Sabanas Blancas." Both artists eventually went their separate ways. Fast forward to 2020, and Los Cangris’ reunion marks the first time they've teamed up in 20 years.
