According to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, Holder, 29, will be charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon after he allegedly gunned down the rapper outside his Marathon Clothing store on Sunday.
The criminal complaint also cites allegations that Holder used a firearm and caused significant bodily injury and death to Hussle. Deemed a "personal dispute" by police, Holder shot Hussle multiple times. Two additional men were allegedly shot by Holder but survived and are currently recovering.
Holder is currently being held without bail and if convicted, faces a possible maximum life sentence in state prison.
The tragic death of Hussle has sparked a flurry of heartfelt responses from the hip-hop community, as rappers such as Drake, J. Cole and Meek Mill spoke fondly of the rapper born Ermias Joseph Asghedom. Earlier this week, several vigils took place to honor Hussle, most notably in cities such as LA and New York.
