Update: Nike has finally presented 2023’s Dunk Low CO.JP with its snakeskin build poised to strike later this year. An exact release date has not surfaced just yet, look for it to release in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at a price of $120 USD.

Original Story: The new year is here, and Nike is poised to build on its momentum from 2022 by delivering a fresh batch of sneakers for its massive consumer base. Down the road in 2023, the Nike Dunk Low CO.JP lineage will be revisited and broadened with a new brown and black entry. And after appearing via early imagery last month, we now have a detailed on-foot view of the pair.

Designers on the Swoosh team leaned on neutral tones for this installment as well as a myriad of materials and textures. The most stand-out element of these lifestyle kicks is the black snakeskin pattern that is dropped off on the toe boxes, quarter panels, and collars, all of which land onto a lighter beige backdrop. Next to this, you’ll find the overlays drenched in a brown which also features remnants of snakeskin patterns. Swooshes on the side panels as well as the heightened heel overlays are texturized with croc-like black leathers which further echo its reptilian motif. To top everything off, tiny notes of a daring red poke out through the Nike branding on the tongues and heels.

Check out a closer look above and stay tuned for word on their release day.
