Update: Official images of Nike’s Zoom Vapor Tour AJ3 in “Racer Blue” have been revealed. NikeCourt’s most well-known performance silhouette due to its former association with Roger Federer and its swath of Air Jordan 3-inspired collaborations, the Zoom Vapor Tour AJ3 is a high-performance tennis shoe with more than a little classic hoops flair and one key difference from its predecessors: no “RF” logo, as Federer has been an On athlete since 2019 (he’s also an investor in the company) and finished his career playing in his signature THE ROGER PRO.

An exact release date for this “Racer Blue” colorway has yet to be revealed, but it should drop in the coming months. Check out the official images above and read the original story below for more info.

Original Story: 2022 marked the conclusion of Roger Federer‘s illustrious tennis career. And while we won’t get to witness his magic on the court, his legacy will continue to be honored through his physical Nike products, one being his Zoom Vapor 9 Tour AJ3 that is expected to see a reissue in 2023. Early images of the model’s “Royal Blue” colorway have surfaced ahead of their official release.

When Federer was a member of the Swoosh family in 2017, the tennis icon reimagined his silhouette in palettes that mimicked classic Air Jordan 3 colorways like the “White Cement,” “Black Cement” and “Fire Red.” While it doesn’t incorporate any hints of red, this newly-leaked variation gives a subtle nod to the Tinker Hatfield-designed retro’s “True Blue” makeup. Premium white tumbled leather forms the upper’s construction while notes of “Royal Blue” pop up across the eyelets, tongue’s Jordan logos, interior liners and Nike Air branding that adorns the heels. Classic “Cement Grey” overlays channel Jordan’s throwback kicks and arrive atop the toe tips and heels.

No release date has been announced just yet, but you can likely find these releasing in the coming months.
