Billboard unveils today a full day of programming to celebrate Latin music artists, management, and industry leaders in the lead up to the 2019 Latin American Music Awards, broadcasting live from Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Oct. 17 Telemundo.
Coinciding with Billboard’s upcoming annual Latin Power Players print issue, the event series will kick off with a daytime summit, cocktail reception, and exclusive En Vivo concert on October 15 at Neuehouse in Los Angeles.
Billboard’s Latin AMA Summit, which is sponsored by founding partner Lexus, along with Cerveza Tecate and City National Bank, will host an afternoon of compelling discussions including a Q&A with Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez and a superstar panel featuring 2019 Latin AMA nominees Ozuna, Becky G, Farruko, and Wisin & Yandel.
"Billboard is committed to continually recognizing the most influential artists and executives in the Latin Music industry and this event allows us to further amplify these important voices for our audiences in real life," said Leila Cobo, vice president and Latin industry lead at Billboard. "Our event will bring together top Latin musicians, executives, managers, and industry leaders to share their stories and successes with each other and our community."
In addition, the invite-only Billboard Power Players Cocktail Party will celebrate top Latin music executives, feature an award presentation and give VIP guests the chance to enjoy delicious food and beverage prior to the evening’s exclusive En Vivo concert.
