Paloma Mami is not only continuing to make the rounds with her latest production “Mami,” but she’s also whipping up new music while in self-quarantine in Chile.
In addition to working hard amid the global coronavirus pandemic, the urbana R&B artist is keeping her nail game strong, telling Billboard that her mission right now is to keep them intact.
“I did my nails a little bit before I got into quarantine, so right now it’s just about me trying to maintain them,” she says. “I’m not able to really do much since they’re acrylic nails, so just trying not to break any!”
The “Not Steady” singer, who describes her nail game as “too fly,” “super extra” and “innovative,” says her go-to nail design is always something crazy. “I love art on my nails so much, so even though my nail tech hates me for it, I make her do a whole masterpiece on them.”
Fun fact: She also loves her nails long.
“It makes me have more attitude, makes me confident. I use a lot of hand gestures while talking, so I especially love hearing my nails click while I do.”
The current times are challenging and uncertain, so the Chilean songstress says she’s counting down the days for quarantine to be over.
“I can’t wait to get something even crazier than I’ve ever done once I get out of this quarantine,” she says. “I love 3-D nails a lot so I might do a little 3-D moment.”
