YungManny‘s Confused

At only sixteen years old, Maryland rapper YungManny, has already become an integral part of a buzzing DMV music scene and tomorrow, he’s releasing his new project, Confused. The 11-track album features guest appearances from fellow PG County artists like Xanman, Manny’s older cousin, and Shabazz PBG. Whether he’s singing over a breezy beat on the feel-good cut, “Margiela,” showing pain in the reflective and deep, “Blessings In Disguise,” or showing off his humorous/mischievous side on “Moana Pt. 2,” YungManny really shows his range with this project. As a DMV native, it’s so cool to see how much the scene has grown, especially if you look at IDK’s latest posse cut, “495,” that YungManny was just featured on alongside Rico Nasty, Big Flock and more. The fact that Manny is still in high school and already helping put the DMV on the map, hopefully means that the region’s rise in popularity isn’t slowing anytime soon.
Alongside the album release, Manny’s dropping any equally hilarious video for “Moana Pt. 2,” directed by WHIPALO. The new video finds Manny and his homies getting busted by local lockdown authorities as he arrives on set to shoot a music video. The officials can’t stop Manny’s turn up though, as he returns to the crib to flex his facemask and sanitizing capabilities on a home recording.
