Pusha T May Be Dissing Drake on Pop Smoke’s Album

Pusha T may be reigniting his feud with Drake.

Pop Smoke’s second posthumous album Faith arrived Friday featuring a pair of Pusha T collaborations including “Top Shotta” and “Tell the Vision.” The latter, which also features Kanye West, includes a line that some believe is a Drake diss.

“Tyler got the album of the year, for now / But Pop about to drop, I see the platinum in the clouds / Now Push about to drop, so real trappers stick around,” he raps before adding, “The crown is only for the king and they tryna place it on a clown.”

It’s unclear if Pusha was taking a shot at Drake, but many on social media seem to believe that Champagne Papi was his target.

Pusha T and Drake’s long-running beef escalated following Pusha’s 2018 “Infrared” verse, which prompted Drake to release his “Duppy Freesyle.” Pusha responded with his scathing “Story of Adidon,” on which he revealed that the Toronto rapper fathered a child.

Last year, Young Thug called out Pusha following the leaked track “Paranoia” that was reportedly recorded for Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon. On his verse, Pusha seemingly takes aim at his Canadian rival. After the song leaked, Thug said he wanted no part in their beef.

“I don’t respect the pusha t verse on the song with me and gunna cause I don’t have nun to do with y’all beef nor does Gunna, and if I knew that was about him I would’ve made changes on our behalf,” he said before adding, “This rapper shit so gay.”

King Push has been working on his highly-anticipated album, which will feature production from Kanye West and The Neptunes. In March, he said he had completed 12 songs for the untitled project. “I’ma have the best album when it drops in 2021, for sure,” he said.
