On March 24, Perez interviewed El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele. The artist was looking to learn more details about Bukele’s mandatory order, which included a three-month freeze on payments for mortgages, rentals, credit cards, and utilities as a preventive measure to keep their citizens out of harm’s way.

On March 30, Perez had a talk Argentina’s president, Alberto Fernández, on his plan of action for the pandemic. President Fernández suggested the country stop their payments towards their national debt, and instead use the money to help citizens. “The economy can wait and be recovered eventually,” he said.

Residente virtually gathered his band to record incredible versions of his songs “Apocalíptico” and “Latinoamerica,” which have over 1.5 and 1.3 million views on YouTube, respectively.
