Rick Ross Reveals ‘Richer Than I’ve Ever Been’ Release Date, Cover Art

Rick Ross has put a date on it.

After much anticipation, the Maybach Music boss is set to return with his first album in two years, Richer Than I’ve Ever Been. He revealed a Dec. 10 release date along with the cover art, photographed by Jonathan Mannion and featuring a dapper Rozay wearing a hat and covering his face with white gloves.

The album’s first single, “Outlawz,” features 21 Savage and Jazmine Sullivan, and will be available Friday, Nov. 12.

“I feel this is the best album I’ve ever done,” Rozay recently told “The Bakari Sellers Podcast.” “I make progress every day. I feel like some of the stuff I’m saying on this album is going to separate this album from others. A lot of people gonna say, ‘Rozay shouldn’t have did that.’ I think I should. Why not? That’s what the game needs.”

The title was inspired by a conversation he had with a “very, very wise old person.” “I’m spiritually wealthy and I’m richer than I’ve ever been,” he told fans.

Richer Than I’ve Ever Been marks the follow-up to 2019’s Port of Miami 2, which featured Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, and more. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
