Rod Stewart Plans North American Summer Tour With Cheap Trick: See the Dates

Sir Rod Stewart has his summer all planned out already. The 74-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will hit the road beginning on July 21 in Cleveland with openers Cheap Trick on a 21-city Live Nation-produced tour that will keep them on the road through a Sept. 5 gig in Chicago. 

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday (Jan. 10) at 10 a.m. local time here, with Stewart's fan club members getting access to a special ticket presale beginning today (Jan. 7) at 10 a.m. local time here;   Cheap Trick fan club members can access the presale beginning Wednesday (Jan. 8) at 10 a.m. local time here. The tour's official presale credit card, Citi, is offering membrers access to a presale beginning on Tuesday as well at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday (Jan. 9) at 10 p.m. local time through Citi EntertainmentSM.

In mid-December, Stewart's You're In My Heart slid past The Who's Who on the U.K. album chart for the singer's 10th No. 1 album, making him the oldest solo male artist to top the U.K. listings, according to the Official Charts Company.
