Finneas previously ruled for 10 frames.
Roddy Ricch rises 2-1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 Songwriters chart (dated July 11), adding a record-tying 10th total week on top.
The rapper rules thanks to four songwriting credits, all in the top 40, on the latest Billboard Hot 100. Leading the way, DaBaby’s “Rockstar,” on which he’s featured, scores a fourth week at No. 1. Roddy Ricch wrote it with DaBaby and SethInTheKitchen.
Here’s a look at all four of Roddy Ricch’s writing credits on the Hot 100.
Rank, Title, Billing (songwriters in addition to Ricch)
No. 1, “Rockstar,” DaBaby feat. Roddy Ricch (DaBaby, SethInTheKitchen)
No. 16, “The Box” (30Roc, Adarius Moragne, Aqeel Tate)
No. 36, “High Fashion,” feat. Mustard (Mustard, GYLTTRYP)
No. 40, “Walk Em Down,” NLE Choppa feat. Roddy Ricch (NLE Choppa, Loshendrix, CashMoneyAP)
With his 10th week at No. 1, Roddy Ricch ties Finneas for the most total weeks spent at No. 1 on the Hot 100 Songwriters chart, dating the chart’s launch in June 2019. Finneas led for 10 weeks from June through November last year.
Meanwhile, SethInTheKitchen logs his fourth week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 Producers chart, thanks to “Rockstar,” which he solely produced.
The weekly Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot 100; plus, genre-based songwriter and producer charts follow the same methodology based on corresponding “Hot”-named genre charts. As with Billboard‘s yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).
