Royce Da 5'9" & ScHoolboy Q's Collab Can Be Heard Via Strange Spotify Mix-Up

Have ya’ll been bumping that Book Of Ryan? In case you missed it, the legendary Royce Da 5’9″ recently dropped off his new album, which we’ve dubbed to be one of the year’s strongest thus far. While the project is consistent across the board, it was revealed that a collaboration with ScHoolboy Q was originally meant for the album, but didn’t make the cut due to clearance issues. Royce’s tweet about the Q collabo “Cut Throat” is particularly interesting, as Royce concluded by promising to find a “cool way” to release it.

Lo and behold, that “cool way” may very well have materialized. Earlier, it was revealed that clicking the Logic assisted “Caterpillar Remix” on Spotify would ultimately play the clean version of “Cut Throat” instead. It’s unclear whether this is indeed a deliberate ploy by Royce’s team, a gaffe, or a straight up glitch. Either way, the song has yet to be removed, so you can catch it below Spotify. Either way, it sort of feels like one of those old school video game cheat codes, a la Crash Bandicoot.
