Telemundo’s La Voz will be back in 2020, Billboard can exclusively announce today (Oct. 10).
Early this year, the inaugural season of Telemundo's La Voz crowned the 18-year-old Jeidimar Rijos from Dorado, Puerto Rico as the winner, alongside her coach, Puerto Rican superstar Luis Fonsi.
La Voz is the Spanish version of the popular show The Voice. The second season has been announced to air early 2020 and will be hosted by Jacky Bracamontes and Jorge Bernal. It is being produced by Telemundo, Talpa Media USA, Inc. and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television.
The series is created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Cisco Suárez, evp of Primetime Non-Scripted Programming at Telemundo, Stijn Bakkers and Tim van Rongen, executive producers for Talpa Media USA, and Macarena Moreno and Moira Noriega, executive producers for Telemundo.
