Selena Gomez hosted a livestream with fans over social media on Thursday (April 29) to chat about life in quarantine and the possibility of even more new music coming down the pipeline.
“As far as new music, I don’t know,” the pop star said slyly during the Instagram Live before silently mouthing the word “yes” while nodding her head. The budding beauty maven also served up an update on the launch of her forthcoming cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, confirming that she’s still hard at work getting the makeup line to fans despite the coronavirus outbreak. “I’m still doing tons of Zoom calls, they send me the things and color palette and all kinds of stuff,” she dished. “So we are getting it ready, but I just don’t know when Rare Beauty’s coming out.”
Later in the chat, the singer also ran through a long list of thrillers and horror movies she’s been watching during quarantine, joking, “”I’m not saying like half of these ’cause I don’t know the threshold of some of my viewers at the moment.” Even still, the superstar’s recommendations including Hereditary, The Hunt, Ready or Not (“So good, that was amazing”), Knives Out, Hot Summer Nights and more.
