The “Como la Flor” singer will be forever immortalized on the Billboard charts after placing 22 songs on the Hot Latin Songs survey, with seven of those hitting No. 1.
She scored her first No. 1 with her very first chart entry: “Buenos Amigos” with Alvaro Torres. Her second No. 1 — “Donde Quiera Que Estés,” with Barrio Boyzz — came two years later as she and Latin music were gaining mainstream popularity.
Other hits on the Hot Latin Songs chart include “Amor Prohibido,” which peaked at No. 1 for nine weeks; “Tu Solo Tu,” which ruled the chart for 10 weeks; and “No Me Queda Más,” which stayed at No. 1 for seven weeks.
