Shania Twain Approves of Brad Pitt ‘Ad Astra’/’That Don’t Impress Me Much’ Joke

That might impress her much! On Monday (Jan. 13), Shania Twain took to social media to show her appreciation for a joke about how Brad Pitt's recent turn as an astronaut in the science fiction film Ad Astra fits eerily into her classic hit "That Don't Impress Me Much."

"Did no one realize that BRAD PITT just played a ROCKET SCIENTIST, who had a CAR?! THOSE ARE THE THREE THINGS THAT DON'T IMPRESS SHANIA TWAIN MUCH!!!" one clever, eagle-eyed fan tweeted, leading the country icon to retweet the observation with a number of laughing emojis.

Twain famously sent up the Hollywood hearthrob in the lyrics of her 1998 smash hit, which was featured as the sixth single from the superstar's 2x diamond certified album Come On Over. "That Don't Impress Me Much" became known for its iconic music video, which featured Twain kissing off various self-absorbed suitors in an unforgettable head-to-toe leopard-print ensemble.

Released in the fall of 1997, Come On Over also spawned hit singles "Love Gets Me Every Time," "You're Still the One," "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" and more.
