In recent years, brands have bolstered their efforts to capitalize on events and holidays. With a surge of celebratory releases for any occasion, sneaker brands have a pair for every theme. For 2023, Nike and Jordan Brand have teamed up to prepare various silhouettes for Valentine’s Day, readying thematic colorways on the Air Force 1 Low, Air More Uptempo and several others. Adding to the list, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 has been officially revealed in a red and white “Valentine’s Day†look.
While white tumbled leather makes up a majority of the upper, red velvet steals the show. The plush material shimmers in the heart-colored hue at the Swooshes, collar and toe box, matching the tongue, collar’s Wings logo and the outline of the rubber outsole. Beneath the “ZOOM AIR†and Swoosh on the tongue, a lightly colored heart appears, matching the custom sockliner. Additional thematic details include “Anytime†and “Anywhere†text embroidered in white at the heel of the left and right shoes respectively as well as pairs coming packaged in a special shoe box.
Need a gift for a sneakerhead? Nike’s got you set with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 “Valentine’s Day†taking place in women’s sizes on February 9 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $150 USD.
That’s not all for Air Jordan 1 news, the highly sought-after “Satin Bred†— which was limited to 501 pairs in its initial release in 2016 — is said to be making a return this holiday season.
