The New Stay At Home Series Debuts April 4
Warner Music Mexico and Warner Music Latin America are debuting a series of artist hosted mini specials titled “Mi Casa, Tu Casa” (My House, Your House).
Each roughly eight-minute “episode” will feature a Warner act hosting a digital gathering from their home that includes a mini performance of covers and favorite songs. Although the series appears similar to so many livestreams out there, “Mi Casa, Tu Casa” is spearheaded by the label and will live on Warner Music Latina’s YouTube Channel.
“It’s not a livestream” clarifies Gabriela Martinez, managing director of Warner Music Latina. “This is going to be constant programming. We are very clear that this will go for a long time and we wanted to create programming that would last. In the end, the objective is the same: Bring artists and fans together and help those fans feel better.”
The first “Mi Casa, Tu Casa” special features Sofía Reyes and will debut Saturday, April 4.
From that point onward, every day will feature a new act. To date, says Martinez, over 30 episodes have been filmed, including shows by established acts like Alex Ubago, Justin Quiles and Piso 21 as well as by more emerging acts.
“We’re also trying to promote our up and coming artists and give them support and a platform,” says Martinez.
