As one of the leading brands combining streetwear with golf, Students has gained a reputation for its cut and sew graphic tee shirts and hoodies that make humorous references to golf culture. But founder Michael Huynh, formerly of Publish Brand, has seen increased eagerness for on-course garments, and the latest drop from Students’ SS23 collection should satisfy those cravings.
Titled ‘Undulations,’ the brand’s SS23 collection is in keeping with the current direction of delivering versatile garments that can be styled for golf or non-golf settings. An example of that is the McDowell Fleece Pullover Hoodie which comes with a large chenille patch ‘S’ logo as well as Students’ signature plastic logo tag.
However, for the most part delivery 3 of SS23 is about performance-ready pieces that offer technical benefits like stretch and moisture wicking. For example, the Fowler Polo Shirt is a staple performance polo brought to life in five color options, featuring a spell-out logo across the mid torso, a two-button placket and simple collar tipping. The 100% polyester build ensures that you’ll stay cool as the weather begins to heat up. Another one to keep an eye on is the Hadwin Mesh Jersey L/S Shirt which is constructed from a micro mesh jersey material. For this one an old western font is used on the stacked ‘SG’ left chest logo, while ‘Estudiantes de Golf’ is spelled out on the reverse side.
