After previewing its FW23 collection earlier this year in Tokyo, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. now previews an impressive new showpiece in the form of a HIFI speaker. Standing 46cm (18 inches) tall, the speaker recreates New York City’s iconic Flatiron building in full detail with eroded cement details wrapping around the structure.

“Listen To The Solist.” and “I Am The Soloist.” branding is carved onto the cemet grey side panels and the brand logo is listed on the triangular top section. Tucked in the polycarbonate composite resin structure are aluminum pistons, NdFeB magnet circuit, 2×3 inch mid-range, 3 x 1 inch tweeter, spherical silk dome, and 7 built-in speaker units delivering a maximum of 110dB and a frequency range of 20HZ to 25 KHz which goes beyond the limits of human perception. Connections include Bluetooth 5.2 and True Wireless Stereo (TWS). Designer Takahiro Miyashita himself was said to be involved in the development of the project.
