It’s official, Swifties will have to wait until 2021 to see Lover performed live again.
Taylor Swift took to social media on Friday (April 17) to announce that she has cancelled all of her 2020 live appearances and performances amid the worldwide pandemic, including “Lover Fest East” and “Lover Fest West.” The shows will now happen sometime next year.
“I’m so sad I won’t be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision,” the songstress wrote alongside an official statement. “Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.
Following the unfortunate news, Swifties flooded Twitter with a range of emotions, from gratitude that Swift is prioritizing her fans’ health to disappointment that they won’t get to see their favorite singer live this year.
