Looking for some good tunes to soundtrack your quarantining? Let DJ Taylor Swift help with that.
SirusXM announced that the “Lover” singer — who is known for her well-curated playlists — is helping launch a Home DJ series on SiriusXM Hits 1 on Friday (April 3). Titled Hits 1 n chill, the program will kick off with Swift, who will begin her DJ duties at 12 p.m. ET on SiriusXM radios (channel 2) and on the SiriusXM app.
DJ Swift is one of many stars that will be taking over SiriusXM Hits 1 from their homes: According to a press release, Niall Horan, Camila Cabello, Sia, 5 Seconds of Summer, Diplo, Kelsea Ballerini, Charlie Puth and Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz are all lined up for the new series, with more to be announced. Along with playing the most-requested hits as well as their favorite music, the stars will also provide commentary as they spin tunes.
Those who can’t tune in at noon ET on Friday need not worry, as Swift’s takeover will be broadcast multiple times throughout the weekend. And those who aren’t subscribed to SiriusXM are in luck: The streaming platform recently announced that SiriusXM will be available for free through May 15 to help get you through social distancing.
