Nobody was quite sure how Tekashi 6ix9ine would be able to bounce back after becoming known as a snitch across the world. The rapper was released from prison early due to COVID-19 concerns and he got back on his old tip right away, trolling a number of his fellow stars. The immediate success of his new single and video “Gooba” was , proving that he’s still got a huge fanbase behind him. Now’s it’s looking like a #1 debut on the charts is possible.

As it stands, the #1 spot will either be occupied by Tekashi 6ix9ine with “Gooba” or and with “Stuck With U.” The race is too close to call right now.

6ix9ine’s streaming success with the new single has been remarkable, especially considering the lack of industry support he’s got from it. The song was not featured on any of the streaming services’ major playlists, and it was notably missing from the ultra-popular New Music Friday chart on Spotify.
