The Game Says He Never Got Credit for ‘Putting On’ Many West Coast Artists

The Game is still waiting for his flowers.

The Compton rapper took to Twitter to vent over the lack of recognition he has received from his peers.

“I never got my flowers from the industry cause wouldn’t be a puppet for the dollar bill #ThugLife,” he wrote in a series of tweets.

Game credited himself for “putting on” some of today’s most prominent West Coast artists without expecting anything in return.

“You know how many of your favorite WEST COAST artists I hand a hand in puttin on ??? Just being a good ni**a…. Was offered finders fees, could’ve signed ni**as….. etc, I just wanted to see ni**as from my side win,” he continued.

And if you don’t believe him, just ask Dr. Dre and TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. “Ask Dr. Dre…. Ask Top Dawg, ask ni**as… I been solid for ni**as since 2003 in this shit. The definition of ‘GOOD LOOKIN’,” said Game.

Game hasn’t been afraid to tout his influence in the past. He once declared himself the greatest rapper from Compton.

“Can’t nobody in Compton outrap Game, ni**a. Can’t nobody in Compton outrap me,” he said during a Clubhouse chat.

It’s been two years since Game released an album. In August, he dropped his single “Worldwide Summer Vacation” ahead of his upcoming 30 for 30 project.
