The International Music Summit (IMS) has announced the dance music industry experts that will take part in a panel discussion following the presentation of the annual IMS Business Report on Thursday.
Livestreaming at 12 p.m. EST, the event will begin with a presentation of this year’s report by London-based analyst Kevin Watson.
Immediately following will be a panel discussion featuring president and founder of Ultra Records, Ultra Music and Ultra International Music Publishing Patrick Moxey; global music agent at Creative Artists Agency Maria May, BBC Radio 1 broadcaster Jaguar, Daouda Leonard, the CEO of Createsafe a virtual management and multiverse development company; and Ministry of Sound Recordings president Dipesh Parmer. The panel will be moderated by Billboard Dance director Katie Bain.

The report will include findings on artist income, festival and club cancellations, growth markets, DSP’s, the impact of streaming and associated revenue and how electronic music is competing against genres like hip-hop. The 2020 edition will also explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and how the electronic music industry has reacted to this unprecedented time.
