Archy Moor enlists the support of Osquello to unleash his compelling new song ‘The Long Road’, which is the first single in the lead up to his debut EP, ‘Moorlands’, set for release later this year. This song is built on a jazzy hip-hop beat that plays into both of their skillsets. Something that stands out to me is the enunciation of Archy Moor’s bars. It feeds into his flow and makes it that bit more special on the delivery, making it a distinct form of narration which draws influence from his story-writing and poetry passions, creating worlds in his writing where he can find comfort and peace.

This collaboration is certainly one that has been masterfully planned, as their fortes are definitely in harmony, it also allows Osquello to add his formula to the record as he displays the variety and versatility in his vocals that his listeners are acquainted with.

It’s a record for the relaxing occasions, one of those you can put on and zone out – immersing yourself into the atmospheric world the song creates.
