Carrie Underwood may be a superstar in the music world, but things are slightly different in her son’s eyes. The country singer recently shared a picture on Instagram of her his homework, where he was asked to identify his mother’s traits.
On paper, four-year-old Isaiah claims his mom is 70, and her job is to “wash the laundry.” It continues to ask what his mom is really good at and his response is “folding laundry.” Understandably surprised at her son Isaiah’s answers, Underwood captions the photo, “Soooo…apparently I’m 70 and I’m really good at doing the laundry.”
The sweet post includes that he and his mom like to watch TV together and she always says “I love you.” When asked if his mom had time what she would like to do his answer was “ride horses.”
While Underwood was surprised by her son’s homework, she got another shock on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14). The singer shares on Twitter that while she expected to be her eldest son’s Valentine this year she was sadly rejected when he said Maddie & Tae’s Maddie Marlow was it instead.
“This morning I asked Isaiah who his Valentine is, fully expecting that he would enthusiastically say, ‘You are, Mommy!’ Instead, he said ‘Maddie.’ Yes, @MaddieMarlow.”
The proud mom of two sons, perhaps Underwood will have better luck being her one-year-old Jacob’s Valentine this year. See the adorable posts below.
