Plus, NLE Choppa returns to No. 1 for 19th week on top.
Social media star and singer Dixie D’Amelio makes her Billboard chart debut, opening at No. 41 on the Emerging Artists survey dated July 11.
D’Amelio bows on the strength of her debut single “Be Happy,” which tallied 3.1 million U.S. streams and sold 3,000 downloads in its opening week, ending July 2, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The Norwalk, Conn., native, 18, is one the most followed personalities on TikTok, with more than 28 million followers on the video-sharing app. Her younger sister, Charli D’Amelio, 16, is reportedly the most-followed person on TikTok (more than 69 million).
Elsewhere on Emerging Artists, NLE Choppa rebounds 2-1 for a record-extending 19th week on top, thanks to two songs on the Billboard Hot 100, led by “Walk Em Down,” featuring Roddy Ricch, at No. 40.
Plus, rapper Cupcakke debuts at No. 11 on Emerging Artists, as her new single “Discounts” debuts at No. 10 on Digital Song Sales with 10,000 downloads sold.
The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50. (The Artist 100 lists the most popular acts, overall, each week.) However, the Emerging Artists chart excludes acts that have notched a top 25 entry on either the Hot 100 or Billboard 200, as well as artists that have achieved two or more top 10s on Billboard‘s “Hot” song genre charts and/or consumption-based “Top” album genre rankings.
