Ever since it hit the music world last year, Tones And I‘s infectious “Dance Monkey” has not gotten out of our heads. So much so, that on Tuesday (May 19), the song’s music video hit one billion YouTube views.
The clip, which shows Tones And I, born Toni Elizabeth Watson, dressed as an elderly man strutting out of the retirement home and busting a move on a country club golf course with pals.
“I can’t believe ‘Dance Monkey’ has hit 1 billion views! I had so much fun making this video. Thank you to everyone for watching,” said Tones And I of the milestone.
